Splice: Experiment 372

My entry for the Splice contest.

With the tail of a salamander, feathers of a hawk, legs of a toad, segmentation of a worm, eyes of a rodent, and the flesh of a fetus, this monstrosity is created.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, I'm glad I entered this contest; I learned a lot from exerting so much effort into this piece and I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

EDIT 2: I just made some last minute touches. The skin is sleeker in some areas with more luster; the eyes are vibrant and clearer, the reflections redone, and other random little things.
